Nirmean is a Consultant at Spring Impact, supporting the delivery of projects across a range of sectors.
Nirmean joined Spring Impact after working for Sufra NW London, a Food Bank and Community Hub supporting those experiencing financial destitution, whilst working to address both the causes and consequences of poverty. During the pandemic, she managed the charity’s operations which saw a complete shift in service delivery, and expansion of the Food Bank to three new locations in response to the exponential demand for food aid.
As the Programmes and Services Manager, she developed and streamlined processes for several services that provide beneficiaries with practical and holistic support to improve their financial wellbeing, as well as increase civic engagement. These included a Community Garden, Welfare Advice Service, Refugee Resettlement Programme and employment support projects.
Before this, Nirmean completed an MSc in Sociology at the London School of Economics and holds an AgilePM Practitioner Certification.
