Jess is the Training Manager, leading the delivery of high-quality training and learning experiences that help mission-driven organisations build the skills and capacity they need to scale their impact. They specialise in translating complex concepts into practical, evidence-based learning, designing programmes that flex to different audiences, cultures, specialisms and levels of seniority.
Before joining Spring Impact, Jess was Senior Strategy Lead at YoungMinds, the UK’s leading youth mental health charity. She focussed on building internal capacity, MEL and governance to implement a new strategic direction centring community interventions and anti-racism. Earlier in her career, Jess held senior roles at The Diana Award, where she designed and led international training and capacity-building programmes for young human rights activists across more than 60 countries, and at NCS Trust, where she developed learning and training across a national network of delivery partners.
Jess lives in London, holds a BA (Hons) and MSc in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and has volunteered at a variety of global and national organisations, including building her own community-based organisation and acting as a Trustee of The Kite Trust, an LGBTQIA+ charity. Jess is passionate about amplifying the work of leaders and organisations tackling social and environmental issues through accessible and practical support.
