Ankita Nawalakha is a Senior Consultant at Spring Impact, where she led complex engagements across education, healthcare, child protection and early childhood development.

She is deeply passionate about  and specialises in how organisations work with governments to scale proven solutions. Her work focuses on helping nonprofits move beyond pilots to sustained government ownership, financing, and delivery, through bespoke support tailored to political, financial, and delivery realities.

She designed Spring Impact’s  Scaling with Government Framework and  toolkit, and is in the core team conducting Spring’s original research on how nonprofits transition solutions to government systems.  

She brings a strong systems lens and a flair for narrative shaping in her client projects. Her most recent projects include: 

  • Bantwana Initiative, Uganda: Strengthened and simplified the core SAFE adolescent protection model. 
  • Corporate Funder: Delivered scale readiness assessments, diagnostics, and tailored recommendations across a global portfolio of early-stage social innovations.
  •  Right to Play : Developed scaling with government strategy across 15 countries, aligning global ambitions with local contexts. 
  • Imagine Her: Shifted the organisation from growing a single programme to running different levels of support –  reaching 15x women at lower cost. 
  • The Tulip Foundation: Led a 4-partner initiative with the aim of scaling early childhood services in Bulgaria from 10 to 25 centres. 
  • Chefs in Schools: E2E re-design of their Digital School Chef platform deployed across 100+ school kitchen teams in the UK

Before joining Spring Impact, Ankita was a Weidenfeld Hoffmann Leadership Scholar at the University of Oxford, completing a Master of Public Policy on a full scholarship. Before moving to UK, she led large-scale education and social innovation programmes in India with Teach For India and founded a social enterprise focused on rights-based education and youth skilling.
