Lava Mae takes radical hospitality to the streets by repurposing retired transportation buses into showers and toilets on wheels to deliver hygiene and restore dignity among the homeless in San Francisco & Los Angeles. We worked with Lava Mae to concentrate its expansion efforts in light of the huge need and opportunity, as well as external pressure to scale up in multiple directions.
