Lydia is a Senior Consultant with Spring Impact, leading and supporting project delivery across various sectors.
Lydia has ten years of experience in the NGO sector, working for, with and alongside numerous NGOs and CSOs, mainly in the areas of social justice and human rights. She is also keenly interested in environmental protection, food sustainability, and the intersection between social and environmental impact.
Lydia has spent the past six years coordinating multi-million-pound international projects. Before joining Spring Impact, she worked at the Rainforest Foundation UK on a project with six civil society organisations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which aims to prove the concept of community forests as the most just and effective means of forest conservation in the Congo Basin, by establishing a scalable model founded on the rights and priorities of indigenous peoples and local communities.
Lydia has a degree in Modern Languages and speaks Spanish, French and Italian.
