Prior to joining Spring Impact as a Consultant in 2020, Davianna worked as a consultant at Cultivating Capital, supporting mission-driven companies through the B Corp certification process and increasing sustainable business practices more generally. During her time at Cultivating Capital, she worked with clients and team members to enable companies to become more socially and environmentally responsible. This included creating new materials to help clients create climate action plans, a theory of change, conduct market research, B Corp certification compliant policy templates, and other content to enable successful improvements that furthered each client’s social and environmental impact goals. Davianna was also previously a Schneider Fellow at the Environmental Defense Fund. There she conducted research to guide EDF’s understanding and policies on expanding access to community solar and distributed energy resources in low income communities. She has also worked with over 6 community-based organizations on projects ranging from water insecurity in the U.S. to agriculture technology in Sierra Leone. As a student, Davianna volunteered as a Peer-Counselor at The Bridge, a free and anonymous counseling service run by students.
